Raghu Mukherjee, the local hot favourite in the 'Grasim Mr India' contest, not only charmed the audience, but bagged a slew of titles as well. The crowd was exhilarated by the fact that he was the first South Indian to have won the prestigious contest.
Though there were other good models in the fray, it was quiet clear that the contest was going to be rather predictable. Raghu was a delight from the word 'go'. His experience in modelling helped him a lot. Raghu also had very clear views about his future plans, the modelling scene and the competition.
He is all set to move to Mumbai as he's getting a lot of assignments in modelling. He has been getting a lot of offers from the Kannada films, but has not made up his mind about it. Raghu's immediate goal is the Mr International Contest, which will be held in Athens this October. This 20-year-old Leo loves to listen to music, dance and go on long drives through the countrysides. He prefers to lounge in casual clothes, but for an occasion he would prefer to choose a designer wear from Rohit Bal or Sunit Verma.
And like all models and contest winners Raghu's ultimate dream is to enter Bollywood and he has already sent his portfolio to Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt.
Raghu Mukherjee has starred in the Kannada film Paris Pranaya.
